Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Georgia

One of the best places in Atlanta to adopt a Cocker Spaniel is through Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Georgia. CSRG rescues Cockers from all over the state of Georgia. You'd be surprised to know that many of the wonderful dogs that enter into the program have barely escaped being euthanized in animal shelters throughout the state. These unwanted dogs go on to become treasured pets and members of new families.

This impressive rescue group has only 11 volunteers, but have saved the lives of over 120 dogs so far this year. In fact, since the rescue started in 1991, this organization has helped place over 3,000 Cocker Spaniels. Most of these dogs would have been euthanized in shelters if not for the loving care of CSRG.

The volunteers work tirelessly to make sure that these dogs will have happy, permanent homes. Susan Roman, a volunteer at CSRG, states that, "All our fosters are kept in our homes and evaluated for personality issues before placement. Once a cocker is accepted into CSRG, we keep the dog in a home environment until the dog is placed."

Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Georgia is making a difference in the lives of dogs and the humans that love them. These loyal canine companions are able to find loving, forever homes through the hard work of this all volunteer organization.
